invitation in english
I invite all Mexican and US puppeteers to participate in a new research project about your puppetry practices and needs.
My goal is to help teach the academic world about puppetry in the Americas today. Toward this end I am observing puppet shows, distributing a survey with puppeteers, and puppeteers' oral histories, in Spanish or English. (The online survey is currently only available in Spanish, but you can open this paper version.)
I will also use what I learn from this research to develop online networks for puppetry in Mexico and the United States.
For more information, email [email protected] in Spanish or English.
